For this piece I traced a picture of my shoe and colored it in Adobe Illustrator. I created a wave design by copy and pasting the shoes over and over again. I used the color burn tool to blend the shoes together and make it look like they were one big wave. I played with the opacity of the shoes in the back wave to make the front wave look bigger and more prominent. I think the most successful part of this artwork is how I made the shape of the waves. I was able to turn or rotate each shoe to create the perfect angle for the wave.
